Privacy Policy

When you use Limito, we collect:

• Account data — your email address when you sign up.
• Scan history — the URLs and text you submit for scanning, along with scan results and timestamps.
• Usage data — how many scans you run per day, which features you use, and general interaction patterns to help us improve the service.
• Payment data — billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or payment credentials on our servers.

We use the data we collect to:

• Provide and improve the Limito scanning service.
• Enforce daily scan limits and subscription entitlements.
• Improve our AI detection models over time (using anonymised aggregated patterns, never linked to your identity).
• Communicate important service updates or billing notices to your email.

• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not share individual scan data with advertisers.
• We do not use your data to build advertising profiles.
• We do not train our models on personally identifiable data.

Limito uses session cookies set by Supabase for authentication purposes only. These cookies expire when you sign out or after an idle period. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Scan history is retained until you delete your account. Profile data (name, email, subscription status) is kept for as long as your account exists. After account deletion, all personal data is removed within 30 days.

• Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you.
• Correction — update your name or contact details in your account settings.
• Deletion — delete your account at any time from the account page; all data is permanently removed.
• Portability — Pro subscribers can export their scan history as CSV from the dashboard.

Limito uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
• Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
